Camp Schedule:Dates: January 31st to  February 4th, 2024

Day 1: Wednesday 31 January: All participants must reach the Bharatpur by evening.

Rathika Ramasamy and RRFWC team will welcome the group and introduction session.

Day 2: Thursday 1st Feb: Exploring park birdwatching and photography

Day 3: Friday 2nd Feb: Full Day, will be spending inside the park for birdwatching and bird photography

Day 4: Saturday 3rd Feb: Full Day, Bird watching and bird photography.

Day 5: Sunday 4th Feb: After breakfast camp ends.

About Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur, Rajasthan:

Keoladeo Ghana National Park formerly known as the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in BharatpurRajasthanIndia is a famous bird sanctuary that hosts thousands of birds, especially during the winter season. Over 230 species of birds are known to be resident.  Park has three major seasons, wet monsoons, cold winters, and hot summers. Come November, and thousands of migratory waterfowl arrive for wintering. During winter, with common winter visitors such as Ruddy Shelduck, Shoveller, Pintail, Wigeon, Common Teal along with resident Lesser Whistling Teals and Spot Billed Duck, Painted storks feeding their young one.

Habitats: One third of the habitat is wetland systems with varying types of microhabitats having trees, mounds, dykes and open water with or without submerged plants. Richness and diversity of plant life inside the park is remarkable. The park’s flora consists of 379 species of flowering plants of which 96 are wetland species.

Birds:  Keoladeo National Park is popularly known as “Bird Paradise “. Over 370 bird species have been recorded in the park. Ornithologically, the park assumes significance, because of its strategic location being a staging ground for migratory waterfowl arriving in the Indian subcontinent before dispersing to various regions. Further waterfowl converge here before departing a breeding   ground in western Palearctic region. In addition, the wetland is a wintering area for massive congregations of waterfowl.

*The camp charges for Indian National Only, foreign nationals. Foreign nationals write to us for charges.NRI’s have to pay extra for entry tickets.

*RRFWC is organising this nature camp. It does not own or operate or control any transport company, hotel etc. We will take care of all arrangements with most care, but it since it has no control in their operation, it cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury or death which may be caused by the act or default of the management or employees of any, hotels, airlines, transport company.

*Littering and taking anything from nature trails is strictly prohibited. All parks has certain rules to follow, everyone has to follow the rules. Breaking the rules is series offence.

*All our photography camps we follow ethics of wildlife photography, Nesting Photography and sharing information about nesting places are not permitted.

*Group video, photographs we will use for promotion purpose. If any individual does not agree, feel free to inform us via email or whatzup message before the workshop

*Don’t take locals and other participants without their permission. Don’t share them without concerned person permission.

*Flash photography inside the national park is not allowed.

*Alcohol & Smoking is strictly prohibited during workshop.

*RRFWC will not be held responsible in case of any legal action mentioned above points.

*It is wildlife, RRFWC does not guarantee any wildlife sightings. Participants should come with open mind.
